We are looking for an Embedded Software Test Engineer Jr. who is willing to work on a project where each team member contributes to the SW Development success of Automotive Steering features. Technical curiosity paired with a passion for engineering is a must for this role, we are looking for someone who applies strategic problem solving and enables the team to understand even the most complex technical challenges down to the last bit. Eagerness to own SW/SYS testing topics as per the V Model Software Development Life Cycle is necessary.

Objective
Software/System Testing Activities for Automotive Steering SW Projects.

Responsibilities

• Embedded Software Development Testing: Unit/Integration/Qualification/System testing and documentation for Automotive Steering Systems
• Test Requirements Traceability and Test Plan support.
• Test Cases Automation Ownership.
• Test Environment process responsible.
• Problem understanding and provide test environment solutions.
• Delivery and release test environment versions.
• Remote Testing Development Benches Maintenance and Support.
• Follow quality process for software development testing according to ISO26262 and ASPICE

Qualifications

• System/SW Testing Experience (1+ Years of Academic Experience and/or Professional Experience)
• Bachelor degree in Electronics engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Computer Sciences or similar
• Programming Skills: C and Python
• Experience in usage of Test and Measurement Equipment’s
• Software/System Test Process and concepts
• English advanced level (B2 or C1 level at least)
• Result orientation
• Ability to motivate others
• Self-learning skills

Nice to have:

• ECU simulation and Testing Tools (CANoe, Canalyzer)
• CANoe: CAPLs, Panels, DBs and configurations
• Vehicle Networking Experience: CAN Communication Protocol
• ISTQB Certified Tester – Test Foundation Level
• UDS: ODX, security levels and DTCs, reflashing
• Automated Test Frameworks Experience (e.g. vTest)
• Requirements Management Experience (e.g. DOORs)
• Test Traceability Management Tools Experience(e.g. RQM)
